Producer Notes:
Batch 004 is an 11-barrel blend of a 75/13/12 mash bill distilled in Frankfort, KY. These barrels range in proof from 131.5 to 106 proof. One of these barrels yielded a mere 68 bottles. After years of aging, the angels took more than their fair share. But the bourbon that remained was comparable to a well-reduced sauce. A demi-glace of bourbon, rich and packed with flavor. I hope you enjoy the bottle and share it with friends and family this holiday season.
 
Warm, sweet oak, tobacco, aged oolong tea and orange zest. As the glass sits notes of maple and bright cherry begin to develop.
 
The palate has the same wonderful fruit and brightness from the nose. Blackberry, Bischoff cookies, and honeysuckle. The oak is integrated nicely as it amplifies the sweet and slightly herbal notes.
 
The finish is long! Honeydew, pipe tobacco and black tea linger for minutes after the sip. Rich and delicious this pour closes out with a bang!
