Tasting Notes: Roasted peaches and pecans fill the nose. It's a deep fruit and slight spice throughout. That turns to a touch of cocoa powder and flambéed cherries. The wood notes bring it together with toasted oak and raisins. This is not a subtle palate. It's an immediate punch of black cherry and vanilla. On the mid-palate, it transforms into a vanilla custard and candied oranges. The back palate dries out a bit with roasted almonds, giving way to a finish of toasted baking spice.
