Producer's Notes:
This appellation of controlled origin dates back to 1937. Fourteen villages from the Côte de Beaune are included in this “Côte de Beaune-Villages” appellation (Auxey-Duresses, Chassagne-Montrachet, Chorey-les-Beaune, Savigny-les-Beaune, Meursault, Monthelie, Pernand-Vergelesses, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint Aubin, Saint-Romain, Santenay, Ladoix-Serrigny, les Maranges and Remigny) but four villages are not included: Aloxe-Corton, Beaune, Pommard and Volnay.
A beautiful deep ruby color with purplish-blue reflections.
The nose reveals floral notes, ripe red fruit and spice flavors. A very nice and fresh palate with a great deal of substance, a nice concentration of aromas.
A wine full of character, generous with a beautiful level of maturity and a good ageing potential.
