Winery Notes: As you enter our Paso Robles estate, our Cabernet Sauvignon vines greet you on both sides of the driveway. We grow two clones of Cabernet, 4 and 6, both very small-berry clones that deliver great structure as well as impressive depth and color. For this 2017 vintage, we hand-harvested the grapes for this wine on the morning of October 4th, hand-selecting only the finest fruit to ferment for 12 days. After pressing, we put the young wine directly into new American oak barrels where it aged for 18 months. This 2017 estate wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, bottled unfined and unfiltered. The wine is already beautiful, yet will continue to develop gracefully over the next 5-8 years.
