"Keush" Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut is an elegant white sparkling wine of beautiful golden-straw color, with a pleasant fruity-floral aroma and a refreshing taste with mineral hues and crisp acidity. The wine is made from autochthonous Armenian grape varieties: Voskheat and Khatun Khardzhi, which are grown in the Vayots Dzor region of southern Armenia near the village of Khachik. "Kyosh" Blanc de Blanc is made according to the traditional method of Charmat, with a secondary fermentation in bottle and aging on lees for at least 36 months.

Keush is being developed by two wine-making enthusiasts in Armenia: Vahe Keushgerian saw much of his wine experience in Italy and returned to Armenia is 1997 with the surge in national winemaking; the talented winemaker is ampelograph Arman Manukyan, who completed an internship in Bordeaux. Enologist Jerome Barre of Champagne consults. The overall goal of the project is the preservation and development of endemic grape varieties of Armenia. The vineyards are located in the highest mountainous terroir of Europe, in the village of Khachik of the Vayots Dzor region, at an altitude of 1750-1850 meters. Due to the cool climate and rapid changes in day and night temperatures, grapes grown here have a high, fresh acidity. Age of vines is at least 40 years old, and yields are very low.
