The Beyer Alsace Pinot Noir has acquired popularity for its charming aromatics, bright cool-climate acidity and deep berry flavor: Morello cherries and raspberries with a hint of earth; lively and refreshing.
The firm of Emile Beyer is under the guidance of Christian Beyer, who represents the 14th generation of the Beyer Family of wine growers. The harvested grapes are pressed slowly and gently, and the juices allowed to settle before a cool and long fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Aging continues in the tank on the lees for several months.
Producer's Notes: The only Alsace red wine, with a fine note of red fruits (cherries) with light tannin content. This is also wonderful served lightly chilled in summer.
