Delicate nose featuring a hint of apple, spices and light smoke; malty & creamy palate with complex cereal character & a smooth silkiness; big finish and a seemingly endless aftertaste.
Aged a minimum of 10 Years in American oak, this Single Malt Irish Whiskey doesn't chill-filter, preferring to maximize the unique characteristics of the carefully selected casks. Enjoy as you would your favorite Single Malt: neat, on the rocks, or with a dash of water.
“The longer you allow it to breath and fully oxygenate in the glass, the more of its engaging aromas will come forward. Egan’s has a slightly warm entry that quickly expands, filling the mouth with flavors of honey, malt, cranberries, apples and a bevy of baking spices.” – Robert Plotkin, Judge at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
In 1852 Patrick Egan Sr established P&H Egan Ltd in Tullamore, County Offaly, the beating heart of 19th century Ireland. This spirited enterprise quickly became one of Ireland’s foremost merchant houses, spanning a range of commercial endeavors that included malting, brewing and bottling. Today the Egan legacy and time honored traditions are carried forward by a family with Irish Whiskey in their blood. Six generations in the making, this charismatic Ten Year Old Single Malt was carefully selected by members of the Egan family and proudly represents over 160 years of family heritage.
